Hi, I’m Morgan! It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m a Cookeville native, alumni of the Putnam County School System and TTU. I’m a small business owner, community organizer and President of one of the largest youth run political organizations in the state of TN.

I believe in the power of community. I understand the gravity and impact of local government and look forward to representing you with clarity, purpose and integrity.

When I graduated from TTU in 2014 my first apartment was a 1-br/1-ba for $425. Today that same apartment is $1,350. We need affordable housing in Putnam County. Our community should be able to live where they work.

Next, transparency and communication. It’s 2026, you deserve representatives that meet you where you are and include you in decision making. In my opinion our County Commission is the least transparent and most difficult to access entity in the entire county. You deserve a seat at the table when it’s YOUR tax dollars being spent, not the threat of being arrested for showing up.

Lastly, Putnam County has an opportunity we’ve never had before: we’re having incredible growth, but with that growth comes responsibility to serve our current and future community. We want a county where TTU graduates stay, where first time home owners can buy a house, where young families are choosing to start their life. Our community can no longer be an oasis for cheap labor and retirees. We all deserve more.
