It’s about neighbors looking out for each other, solving problems together, and building a future we can all share.

community isn't a Partisan issue

Putnam County Commissioners set the county's budget, approve local taxes, and decide how public money gets spent on things like roads, schools, and emergency services.

They also vote on policies and regulations that directly affect the everyday lives of Putnam County residents like zoning rules that determine what can be built in your neighborhood, funding for the sheriff's department and local fire services, setting property tax rates, maintaining county roads and infrastructure, and decisions about parks, libraries, and public services your family uses every day.

What does the Putnam County Commission do?

back

Putnam County is growing, but too many families are being priced out of the community they love. As your County Commissioner, I will support zoning and land-use decisions that make room for starter homes, mixed-income neighborhoods, and affordable housing options. When people can afford to put down roots here, our whole community thrives.

We should be able to live where we work.

Affordable Housing

For too long, small committees and closed-door meetings have shaped major decisions without the voices of everyday residents. That ends with me.

If you elect me, you are voting for: open, accountable decision-making, clear explanations of every vote I take, a Commissioner who listens first and acts second, and a commitment to keeping the public not insiders at the center of county government.

You deserve to know what decisions are being made and why.

Transparency

02

As Putnam County continues to grow we have new opportunities to use our tax dollars in ways that will continue to improve our community and quality of life.

The average growth rate of Putnam County is about 1.1%, meaning without raising taxes and proper oversight we have new opportunities to support families and economic development.

Every child in Putnam County deserves access to well-funded classrooms, dedicated teachers, and the resources they need to thrive. I'm a product of the Putnam County School System and I'm thankful everyday for the outstanding education I recieved. As your District 1 Commissioner, I will work to ensure county support for our public schools reflects these commitments and only the best for our next generation. From career and technical education to early childhood programs, strong public schools build a stronger Putnam County for everyone.

Too many seats on our current County Commission are filled by individuals who are disengaged from the community they were elected to serve.

As an already active, visible member of Putnam County I believe that representing District 1 means more than showing up to a monthly meeting, it's meeting the community where they currently are.

When do I vote for you?

I’m running because Putnam County deserves Commissioners who puts people before politics. I want to bring transparency, practical problem-solving, and a community-centered approach to county government. District 1 deserves a representative who is present, accessible, and focused on the everyday challenges and opportunities facing our neighborhoods.

Frequently asked questions

I'm a third generation Putnam County Resident, I'm also a third generation Democrat.

I've voted in every election since I turned 18 and I've volunteered my time as a poll worker at most of those elections. I love democray, I love Putnam County and I love this incredible country we call home.

I’m proud to be a member of the working class and the leadership who represents them. My faith tells me to love my neighbor and as far as I can see the party doing that most effectively is the Democratic Party. I dislike the two party system and while I have many issues with both the Democratic and Republican Party I find myself most aligned with the values and mission of the Democratic Party.

That being said, no matter who or how you vote, please know: I will always put people before party.
